“I thought I didn't have movers today so I put in a request for quotes and within 5 hours Onan was responding and had time to do it this afternoon, and it was a flat fee that wasn't too much more than my original quote. Also, no deposit was required and there was no hassle when I let him know I wouldn't need him. Great customer service! I will definitely be using and recommending him to anyone moving in the future.”
Do you own the trucks and employ the movers directly?
Ours, a real Haltom City crew. Conan Moving is licensed and insured, and we travel across Texas and beyond. We never pass your move off to a broker or a day-rate driver in a rental.
How much will my move cost?
One flat price, texted before we start. A small apartment usually runs $250–$380 and a two-bedroom $560–$850. Booking crew by the hour instead? Two movers run $120/hr and three run $170/hr, with no deposit to hold the date.
Is there really no deposit or hourly meter?
Correct. The price is a flat number set up front, no deposit needed to book, and no hourly clock. You pay the number you were quoted, nothing more.
Does the price hold, or can it shift?
It is final. We fold the stairs, the elevator, the parking, and the heavy items into the flat price ahead of time, so the quote and the bill match. Want it in writing? We send it before you book.
Do you take last-minute or same-week moves?
Constantly. Many of our jobs are short-notice, folks who got let down by another company. Text us the details and we will tell you the same day whether we can fit it in.
Do you move apartments and high-rises?
Every week. Third-floor walk-ups and elevator towers are our specialty. We book the load zone and freight elevator ahead so nothing holds up the crew.
Can you move a piano, a gun safe, or a heavy vault?
Absolutely, bulky and awkward items are routine, and we bring the boards, dollies, and straps, everything covered in the flat price up front.
How far ahead should I book?
Tuesday through Thursday tends to have openings within a few days. Weekends and the end of the month fill fast, so text early. If it is truly last-minute, ask anyway, we do same-week jobs all the time.
What areas do you cover?
Haltom City and all of northeast Tarrant, Fort Worth, the HEB cities, Keller, Colleyville, Grapevine, and the rest of the DFW metroplex, plus longer Texas hauls.
What if something gets damaged?
Basic coverage follows the federal rate of sixty cents a pound, while full-value protection runs roughly one to three percent of the amount you declare. We note anything on site and stand behind the work.
